Part Time Retail Sales Advisor (24 hours a week, Swindon)
Pay: £16,881 per annum plus pension and company benefits.
Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Branch Location: Swindon Trade Park.
Branch opening hours: Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm, Saturday 8 am to 5 pm.
Role Overview
Provide exceptional service to customers and support the smooth operation of the branch and its delivery service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in the branch.
- Use product knowledge to recommend and sell paint, wallpaper, and decorating materials.
- Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock from the branch network.
- Develop sales of the company’s product range, including wallpaper, paint, and fabric.
- Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and offer comprehensive solutions.
- Promote seasonal and special items and merchandise in‑store to increase visibility and sales.
- Assist with stock maintenance and unloading deliveries.
- Ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Approachable and friendly personality.
- Team‑oriented but capable of working independently.
- Willingness to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider.
- Enthusiastic about learning, developing skills, and progressing within the industry.
- Previous retail experience or product knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
