An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Professional to work in a Specialist role with patients who have a confirmed diagnosis of ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome. We are an Outpatient Team based where therapy is delivered at Broadgreen Hospital. This will be a static post.

The service offers a tailored self-management programme to assist patients with specialist advice. Therapists deliver group workshops and individual therapy sessions by virtual or face to face methods. Therapy is in line with the guidance of the ME/CFS NICE Guidelines and the Post COVID NICE guidelines.

The team delivering the care includes Consultant Physicians, Service Manager, Specialist Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologist, Specialist Physiotherapist and our administration team. Ideally you will have experience of working with people with long term health conditions, both in the Physical and Mental Health arenas.

Delivery of a tailored therapy programme supporting the management of ME/CFS and Post Viral Fatigue. Specialists will be providing specific therapy advice encouraging patients to use strategies and tools to help positively manage their present condition. Specialists will manage their own caseload with the support and supervision of Senior Therapists and Clinical Psychologists on site.
