Locum MSK Consultant Radiologist – 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will join a well‑equipped Radiology team at GWH, supporting the Musculoskeletal (MSK) service across CT, MRI, US, and mammography, and providing expert imaging and clinical support within the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Provide musculoskeletal imaging services, including CT, MRI, US, and mammography, and participate in scanner setup and maintenance.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and collaborate with colleagues across the Trust.
- Lead and deliver teaching, examination, and accreditation duties, contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education activities.
- Support the Lead Clinician and Associate Medical Director in policy, strategy and clinical governance development.
- Assist in service improvement initiatives and cost‑effective utilisation of resources within the Directorate.
- Maintain on‑call duties within the Trust’s consultant presence schedule, including weekend responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Hold a CCST or CCT in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
- Demonstrated training and competence in all aspects of the MSK speciality.
