The Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is collocated next to the Emergency Department. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to allow patients to be seen, treated, discharged or signposted to alternative service provision.
The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of individualised patient care and improve patient experience. You will demonstrate continuing professional development, reflecting individual needs, the needs of the team and the organisation.
In our new purpose-built facility, we have additional assessment rooms, a plaster room and eye clinic room to ensure that patients receive timely treatment. The expansion will support the local population and provide the necessary space to deliver treatments.
Act as an independent, autonomous practitioner, assessing, diagnosing, caring, treating and discharging patients using sound clinical rationale. Work under the direction of the senior practitioner team, in close liaison with interdependent departments.
