Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of four RVNs and one dedicated technician.
  • Coordinate the daily workflow of the dentistry department.
  • Maintain exceptional standards in anaesthesia, theatre nursing and patient care.
  • Oversee the patient journey from admission through to discharge.
  • Support team development through coaching, training and regular feedback.
  • Represent the department at leadership meetings and contribute to hospital projects.
  • Drive service improvements and support the continued growth of the dentistry department.
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care as an active member of the nursing team.

Working Pattern

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Five 8‑hour shifts per week with a 1 in 8 weekend rota; days off the following week after weekend shifts.

The Practice

The hospital manages a diverse caseload across cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, and dentistry.
