Driver supervisor wanted. Our client based in Swindon is seeking a Driving supervisor. There is a permanent position available after a successful trial period.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the site's compliance for all vehicles & drivers (11 HGVs, 1 van, 13 drivers).
- Cover Class 2 driver holiday and other absences when required.
- Carry out driver training, coaching & assessments when required.
- Assist Operations Management team with warehouse duties such as goods in, loading vehicles, palletised goods, using counterbalance forklift when required.
Hours and Pay:
Normal working hours: 04:00-14:15 Monday-Friday; Saturdays on a rota basis (1 in 12), 48-hour contract averaged over a 26‑week reference period. Pay £15.07 per hour.
Essential Requirements:
- Fully licensed to drive Class 2 vehicles.
- Full, in‑date CPC.
- Multi‑drop delivery experience, ideally in high‑streets and/or housing estates.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Working Time Regulations.
Desirable:
- Counterbalance and/or reach forklift licence.
