We are seeking to appoint an exceptional values based leader with a strong commitment to driving innovation and inspiring the best in people. As Deputy Chief Nurse, you will showcase a track record of success and experience. You will be responsible for supporting the Chief Nurse to deliver improvements in quality and safety and will ensure that patient experience is at the heart of the organisation.

You will promote excellence in clinical care and professional standards across the Trust, and in the Hospital Group. You will be responsible and accountable for providing comprehensive and robust strategic and operational professional leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing, midwifery, and allied health professionals across the organisation to deliver the highest standards of care.

The role will seek to improve and build stronger relationships with CQC, and support with the patient experience through better understanding and making meaningful improvements. We are looking for someone with drive and the ability to inspire, who has a real passion for patient care, developing our future workforce, and the ability to work effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will need to role model our values and be a credible senior leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to deputise for the Chief Nurse across the full portfolio of the Chief Nurse’s responsibilities as required.
