Opportunities Available:
- Care Assistant 30 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
This is a Bank Care Assistant role to cover a mix of day, night, weekday and weekend shifts with previous experience of working in a care home setting.
A day in the life of a Care Assistant includes:
- Companionship: Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
- Personal care: Supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
- Medication: Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
- Meals: Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks: Light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility: Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
- Social activities: Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
