This Executive Officer role sits within the Operational Delivery Profession, supporting the Business Management and Operational Support Job Family. The team plays a vital role in enabling operational areas to succeed by providing specialist support, effective co‑ordination and excellent customer service. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams and sponsors, you will help keep services running smoothly while contributing to a culture that champions recognition, involvement, development and support for all.

The job holder will support the achievement of business targets by reviewing procedures, managing and implementing change, and identifying improvement opportunities. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Support the achievement of targets by reviewing and advising on current procedures through formal and informal briefing.
- Understanding changes and how they will affect the business.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities arising from changes.
- Develop and implement business change processes, and provide business knowledge to programmes, projects and units.
- Collate, monitor and interpret relevant information, providing reports where necessary.
- Communicate existing procedures and proposed changes to colleagues, providing information and guidance where necessary.
- Supporting business areas on the introduction of new projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with changes by liaising and consulting with other units, agencies and external organisations to ensure that the impacts of change and improvements are co-ordinated.
- Share information and manage proposed changes, including identifying and realising benefits.
- Drive continuous improvement for the benefit of the business, advisors and customers.
- Ensure that internal and external operational queries and complaints are dealt with in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Oversee and be accountable for performance, conduct and attendance processes within your area of responsibility and ensure they are adhered to and acted on in a timely manner in your role as Investigating Officer or Decision Officer.
