We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple centres across the UK, for a MOT Technician to join their busy Swansea location.
This is an excellent MOT Technician opportunity for a skilled professional seeking stable employment within a friendly workshop environment.
- Starting salary approximately £32,640 per annum, negotiable based on experience
- Monthly performance-related bonuses, averaging £3,600 annually - 32 days' annual leave including bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday

- Opportunity to work with the UK's fastest-growing tyre retailer - 42.5 hours per week over a five-day guaranteed schedule, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, and alternate Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm (with a day off in the week when working a Saturday) Duties of a MOT Technician:
- Carrying out MOT tests in compliance with Ministry standards
- Diagnosing vehicle faults and executing relevant service and repair work
- Supporting workshop operations as needed to ensure efficient workflow
- Providing high-quality work within designated timescales
- Offering assistance at the front reception desk with customer enquiries when required
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times
- Requirements of a MOT Technician:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester
- MOT licence is essential
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to produce high-quality workmanship within tight deadlines
- Friendly and approachable demeanour, with strong communication skills
- Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Swansea
