Do you have experience in providing dedicated support to clients who have been granted leave to remain by the Home Office? Or do you think you have the resilience to handle challenging situations? We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Refugee Supported Accommodation service, providing accommodation and support for refugees.
Work full‑time (average 39.375 hours per week) on a 2‑week rotation pattern (Week 1: 4 shifts 8am‑8:15pm; Week 2: 3 shifts 8am‑8:15pm; weekend on/weekend off).
Key responsibilities- Re‑enforce positive support being delivered and establish consistent standards for each new resident.
- Provide a strengths‑based, trauma‑informed approach to empower people in improving independent living skills.
- Safeguard residents from potential danger, harm, or abuse.
- Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.
- Maintain flexibility, patience, resilience, and professionalism, approaching duties with a calm and caring demeanour.
