Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. £13.45 + holiday pay.

What you'll be doing:

  • We offer work with various clients including learning disabilities, hostels, homelessness, children and young people, mental health, elderly and more.
  • Your role will be to encourage people to live their lives to the fullest through various means whether this is emotional and/or physical support.
  • As we offer various work with different clients, training requirements and tasks will vary.
  • We prominently work alongside organisations who provide support to adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities within supported living settings, promote independence and aid with fulfilling life skills and house tasks in addition to helping engage within their local community.
  • Additionally, you may be involved in in-house and community-based activities including going to the cinema, meals, day trips and medical appointments.
  • In addition to providing high-quality care and support, you will aid to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

To be suitable, you will be a driver with access to your own vehicle due to the locations of services and happy to undertake personal care.

Requirements:

  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years.
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks.
  • Willing to undertake personal care.
  • To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the service users.
  • Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
