We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated experienced Radiographer with extensive post graduate experience in MRI to join our very busy Radiology Team here at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. This role is based at The Princess Royal Hospital (PRH), Telford with rotation to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Stafford Park, Telford.
The successful applicant must have a BSc (Hon) Diagnostic Radiography or DCR, current HCPC registration and extensive post graduate experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and team leadership.
- Lead and improve the MRI service so patients get safe, high-quality care.
- Lead the daily work of the MRI team and make sure staff are trained and supported.
- Ensure the MRI scanner and equipment are used safely and kept in good working order.
- Plan staff rotas, manage waiting lists, keep records, and follow Trust policies.
- Work closely with other teams, deal with patient concerns, and help keep the service running smoothly.
- Help with audits, safety checks, new equipment, and ongoing professional development.
