TeacherActive are proud to be working with a dedicated SEN school in Bolton that caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties. The school’s nurturing approach and inclusive ethos make it a fantastic environment for both staff and pupils to thrive.
The school are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team. The successful applicant will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum, manage their emotions, and develop key life skills.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will:
- Have prior experience working with children or young people with additional needs (in a school or similar setting).
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviour and using positive behaviour strategies.
- Be patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
- Be comfortable supporting across a range of ages and abilities.
