Location: Wythenshawe Hospital

Salary + Bonus: £30,000

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and direct overall store management of the Subway restaurant at Wythenshawe Hospital, including prompt and efficient preparation and service of all food to the standard outlined in the Subway operations manual, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to required standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly regarding customers’ special dietary requirements such as nut, dairy, or wheat allergies.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organization.
  • Ensure that the Company’s accountancy, documentation, and administration procedures are carried out to the laid‑down standard, completing necessary weekly returns accurately and on time.
  • Maintain business records as outlined in the Kitchen Works Restaurant Operations Manual, analyse records to increase sales, control and monitor financial performance, and keep costs within pre‑budgeted targets.
  • Support local and national marketing initiatives and communicate changes in food preparation formulas, standards, etc., to staff.
  • Maintain the standards and integrity of the service offer and Service Level Agreement at all times; carry out daily service audits and perform activities detailed in the service offer manual under Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Strong operational background in the fast‑food service, leisure or retail sectors.
  • Experienced leader and developer of teams, effective in directing others.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene standards.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
  • Willingness to get involved and offer a flexible approach to working.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and self‑motivate.
