An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly, well established and highly specialist multi disciplinary team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified therapist seeking a term time only position, a supportive start to their career, and genuine variety within their working role. St Rose’s School and St Martin’s College is an exceptional organisation providing education, therapy and care for students aged 2–25 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex physical and sensory needs, communication difficulties and autism. Due to continued growth in student numbers, we are delighted to welcome applications for an additional therapist to join our team.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- We are seeking a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist who:
- Is passionate about supporting young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs
- Is keen to learn and develop specialist skills in areas such as AAC, complex physical and sensory needs including visual and hearing impairments, autism and learning disability
- Values a rewarding, varied and interesting caseload
- Thrives within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrates excellent communication, teamwork and a creative, dynamic approach to practice
The successful applicant can expect:

You will receive regular one to one clinical supervision from experienced colleagues and will work closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, teachers and specialist support staff.
