We are recruiting an SEN Primary Teacher to join a well-regarded specialist school in Trafford for the September 2024 term. The school provides a welcoming and supportive environment for pupils aged 4-11 with a range of special educational needs: SEMH, SLCN, and other needs.

As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver creative, tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of your pupils while fostering a safe, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports behaviour and engagement.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential).
  • Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
