Location: Stourport

Reporting to: Stores & Goods In Manager

Pay Rate: £12.71 – £14.24 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores / Goods In Operative to join our team in Stourport. This role is key to ensuring efficient stock control, accurate record-keeping, and smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and distribute stock to meet business requirements
  • Maintain accurate stock control, including storage and location management
  • Update records and systems as required
  • Carry out regular stock checks and counts
  • Follow all procedures when completing tasks
  • Report discrepancies to the appropriate department
  • Maintain a safe working environment and culture
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping across all work areas
  • Support other departments when required
  • Comply with all company Health & Safety regulations
  • Carry out additional duties as requested by the Stores Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

  • Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
  • Previous experience in stockroom or warehouse organisation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Forklift licence (preferred/required)

  • Flexible to undertake ad hoc duties as needed
