LOCATION: NR Stonehouse

HOURS: Mon to Thurs 7am - 16.30pm / Fri – 7am - 11am

START DATE: ASAP

PAY: £38,000 - £40,000 (Depend on experience)

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Via either Temporary to Permanent or Straight Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Miller to join our client’s well-established team. This role involves the precision manufacture of medical instruments in a calm, clean, and professional working environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently from engineering drawings are essential.

Machines used: Fanuc controls on Doosan 750 and Doosan 6700 vertical milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC milling machines
  • Manufacture precision components for medical instruments
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
  • Use OneCNC software for programming and machining operations
  • Work with CAD/CAM systems to support production
  • Conduct in-process inspection and final quality control checks
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles and precision engineering
  • Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings
  • Experience using OneCNC (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of CAD and CAM software
  • Experience in manufacturing precision or medical components (advantageous)
  • Good understanding of quality control processes
