Salary: £23,542.56 FTE

Core Hours: 35 hours per week 9.00am - 5.00pm

Location: Bromsgrove

Benefits: 30 days' annual leave (increasing to 35 with length of service), bank holidays, Company Pension, Life Assurance, Employee Discount Scheme, Medical Cash Plan. All benefits will be pro‑rated.

What We Are Looking For

We are currently looking to recruit an Administrator to provide an administrative support service to our Bromsgrove centre.

Role Responsibilities

  • Cover reception: greet visitors, answer the phone, divert calls/take messages.
  • Make drinks for visitors attending meetings in the centre.
  • Record post in/out and associated duties.
  • Photocopy and scan documents.
  • Provide admin support for social workers, the Operations Manager and the Registered Manager as required.
  • Minute meetings if requested by the Registered Manager.
  • Type and distribute various social work forms and upload them to the Charms database.
  • Distribute finance forms and upload them to the Charms database.
  • Keep all child and foster parent information up to date on master lists and the database.
  • Book rooms at the Bromsgrove centre for training, foster parent & child reviews, and therapy.
  • Issue petty cash.
  • Support head office with DBS checks on existing and prospective foster parents, their family members and the support network.
  • Assist with setting up/clearing rooms on training days at the Bromsgrove centre.
  • Shop for centre provisions.
  • Attend mandatory training, refresher courses and first aid training.
  • Perform any other tasks that may be required as directed by the Senior Administrator, Operations Manager and Registered Manager.

What You Will Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong administration skills including minute taking.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to respond to difficult situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload independently.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with professionals from various disciplines.
  • Passionate, professional, with a "can‑do" attitude at all times.
  • Good understanding of GDPR, and the ability to keep information and data confidential and discreet.
  • Some experience working within fostering is preferred.
  • Will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by ISP.
