OPERATING DEPARTMENT PRACTITIONER SCRUB (RGN / ODP)

North Staffs Hospital | Scrub | Bank | Includes weekend work

Up to £30.00 per Hour depending on skills and experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Qualifications

  • You are registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
  • With post‑registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
  • Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
  • Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
