A well-established small sheet metal fabrication business based in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Setter & Operator on a permanent basis. We have recently invested in a brand new AMADA HFEM2 3-metre press brake, and this role will play a key part in supporting our ongoing growth.
The Role
- Setting and operating press brake machinery
- Working accurately from 2D and 3D CAD technical drawings
- Producing high-quality components to specification
- Working independently while also collaborating effectively within a small team
- Supporting and training other team members on press brake setting and operation where required
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience setting and operating press brake machines
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings (2D & 3D)
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable taking initiative and responsibility
- Willing to share knowledge and support team development
Hours of Work
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
Pay & Benefits
- £14.30 - £15.30 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position
- Stable working hours with an early finish on Fridays
