Overview

Job Description: Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences.

Location: Royal Stoke Hospital. Hours: 26.25 hours per week (4 on, 4 off, 2pm – 10pm). Pay: £10.90 – £13.14 per hour. Uniform provided. Access to Blue Light Card. Sodexo Benefits. 20 Days Holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of kitchen porter duties in line with schedules and supervisor instructions.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) legislation and standards.
  • Take responsibility for personal and team health & safety, ensuring no risk to others.
  • Deliver ad hoc food and equipment items to wards and clinical areas.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to support catering service delivery.
  • Complete daily records and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Move food trolleys and equipment safely, following procedures and escalation routes.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, infection control, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and operational.
