A person is required to operate machinery in our door and doorset manufacturing workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various machinery, including:
    • Cross and rip saws
    • Mitre saws
    • Spindle moulder
    • Thicknesser
    • CNC router
    • Spraying equipment
    • Laminating equipment such as presses and laminate trimmers
    • General electric hand tools such as circular saws and drills

Qualifications

  • Ideally the candidate would be comfortable operating the above machinery, or have experience operating some and be willing to receive training on the others.
  • General understanding of gluing, clamping and other joinery practices is an advantage.
  • Forklift operating experience would also be an advantage.

Working Hours

This position is part-time; full-time may be available for the applicant's preference.
