Automotive Location: Stoke on Trent (ST3)
Temporary to Permanent Vacancy
Responsibilities
- Installation and Repair: Automotive electricians install, inspect, and repair electrical systems in various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and agricultural equipment. This includes wiring, ignition systems, alarms, and entertainment systems.
- Diagnosis: They diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, identifying faults in wiring and electronic components.
- Maintenance: Regular maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards is a crucial part of the job.
- Customer Interaction: They gather information from customers regarding electrical issues and provide estimates for repairs, ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process.
- Documentation: Completing job reports and processing paperwork related to repairs and maintenance is also part of their duties.
