We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Drainage Engineer to join our growing team in a client-facing, field-based role. You’ll attend domestic and commercial properties, diagnose and resolve drainage issues, and represent the business professionally on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend both emergency and planned drainage jobs
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods, etc.
  • Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining, and minor excavations
  • Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
  • Identify and recommend additional work where appropriate
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Contribute to brand reputation with excellent service and technical knowledge
  • Take part in an on-call rota to support 24/7 service delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year’s drainage experience (essential)
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
  • HPWJ certification preferred
  • Plumbing knowledge and/or drainage tanker experience (desirable)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • CSCS card (preferred)
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and technology on-site

What We Offer

  • £28,000 – £30,000 per year basic salary plus performance-based bonuses
  • On target earnings £38,000 pa
