Job Introduction: We’re looking for a Domestic Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at Haywood Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is your chance to be part of something greater.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas.
  • Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing.
  • Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies.
  • Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors.
