Qualifications

  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ideally, Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification.

Responsibilities

  • See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy.
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
  • Work in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
  • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
