Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of anaesthetic procedures for patients undergoing surgery.
  • Support the team to prepare a wide range of specialist equipment and drugs, including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment and devices that safely secure the patient's airway during anaesthesia.
  • Monitor patients throughout the anaesthetic process.
  • Respond quickly to any changes or complications that may arise.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP).
  • Minimum of 6 months UK‑based Operating Theatre experience.
  • Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS.
  • Mentoring or teaching qualification.
