Stockport Supported Living for people with a Learning Disability. Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers for our supported living services in Stockport. We provide person-centred care and support to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users by providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home and varied activities in the community. Some of the people we support have health or behaviour support needs and will need your skilled support to maintain their health and wellbeing. You will be expected to use personalised communication approaches and to develop trusting relationships with the people we support and their families.

We can offer a choice of full-time and part-time hours. In most of our services you will undertake sleep-ins. You must be willing to cover various shift patterns (early and late shifts) depending on the needs of the people we support, across a 7 day rota. In most of our services you will also undertake sleep-ins for which we pay an additional sleep-in allowance.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Previous care and support experience is valued but is not essential provided that you have a passion for enabling people to enjoy their lives and achieve their goals. This is a part time role, hours available between 15-24 hours per week. You must be able to uphold the dignity and rights of the people we support and adhere to our ‘We Care' Values.
