About this job:
- As a clinical pharmacist working on the wards, you will demonstrate the ability to provide safe, clinically effective and cost efficient use of medicines to in patients.
- To provide a routine clinical pharmacy service to the wards, including prescription monitoring.
- To provide pharmaceutical information and advice to medical and nursing staff and patients on the wards.
- To demonstrate a good core clinical knowledge.
- To enhance and monitor the quality of patient care.
- To demonstrate a whole-system patient-focused approach.
- To demonstrate a good level of clinical reasoning and judgement.
- To liaise with other clinical pharmacists to ensure efficient transfer of medicine related care.
- To counsel patients on their medication and answer any other medicine related enquiry.
- To ensure the personal quality and accuracy of work is maintained despite frequent interruptions.

If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this, it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
