As a PCB assembly operative, you will be helping with assembling, soldering, inspection, programming and testing of PCB assemblies. Your responsibilities will be to ensure PCBs are assembled correctly as per the bill of materials and drawings, they are assembled to a high standard and are programmed and tested as per company procedures.
Required Skills
- Prior experience of insertion and soldering of through-hole components into a PCB assembly
- Ability to identify different components & a knowledge of component polarity
- Good soldering technique (demonstration will be required during interview process)
- Must be able to follow job cards, work instructions, diagrams and sample PCBs
- Must be well organised and able to work to deadlines
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail and able to work in a team
- Proficient use of a computer will be required for programming and testing
