Are you a nurturing and qualified EYFS Practitioner looking for a stable and fulfilling role? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic practitioner to join our dedicated Early Years team. This is a chance to work exclusively with our youngest learners, utilising your passion for play-based learning and early child development.
Responsibilities
- The core focus of this position is to support the learning and development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) ages 3-5.
- You will work as a key member of the team, supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based activities, observing and recording children’s progress against the EYFS framework, and acting as a Key Worker for a small group of children.
Qualifications
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
- Has recent, relevant experience working in an EYFS or Nursery setting.
- Possesses strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
- Is an excellent communicator and adept at working collaboratively with parents and staff.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assist the class teacher in planning and setting up the indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- Deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to individual needs.
- Observe and document children's progress, act as a Key Worker, and contribute to the smooth running of the EYFS unit.
