The Kingsway School is seeking an organised Library Resource Centre (LRC) Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our vibrant learning space at the heart of the school. This is a key role in supporting literacy, reading for pleasure and academic success.
You will manage and develop library stock and resources, maintain an inviting and purposeful LRC environment, and work closely with colleagues to ensure the space supports both students’ social and academic needs. Working in partnership with the Whole School Literacy Leads, you will help identify students for Lexonic reading interventions.
You will also play a central role in promoting a strong reading culture, designing and delivering engaging extra-curricular activities and coordinating events linked to national literacy initiatives such as World Book Day, National Poetry Day and National Storytelling Week.
