Salary Scale: £35,019 – £49,767 (Full Time Equivalent) – £17,509.50 – £24,883.50 (Pro‑Rata).
Pension Contribution: (£9,565.00 – £13,593.45 FTE).
Location: Stockport Campus – The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) – opportunity to join the Construction & Sustainability Team, a centre of excellence for work skills to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Level 1 & 2 students achieving Carpentry and Joinery BPEC qualification.
- Teach Carpentry and Joinery related studies to apprentices and design assessments.
- Deliver learner‑focused, high‑quality education, providing an excellent learning experience.
- Develop curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about your specialist subject and sharing knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Enthusiastic about supporting apprentices.
- Either an experienced lecturer or an experienced Carpenter/Joiner.
- Previously taught up to Level 3 standard.
- Possess a Level 5 certificate in teaching, or willing to work towards it.
- Have Level 3 qualifications in Assessing, Carpentry and Joinery.
