The predicted salary is between 23615 - 25674 £ per year.

As a healthcare Assistant you will be expected to work within our dedicated multi-disciplinary teams and be involved in providing individualised care, assisting with patient hygiene and dressing, and meeting the nutritional needs whilst maintaining their dignity and respect.

Contributing to the safety and cleanliness of the environment whilst keeping good documentation.

Communications

  • To communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • You will support the RN with transferring patients to the unit and collecting medications and equipment from across the trust.
  • To carry out routine administrative/telephone related tasks.
  • To communicate effectively when giving/receiving verbal and written information.
  • Ensure patients have all property and aids with them on discharge.
  • Communicate with patients' friends/relatives around discharge plans.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust's policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.

This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill levels set by UK Visas and Immigration.
