We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to oversee the delivery of high‑quality care within our service. This role combines hands‑on clinical responsibilities with leadership duties, ensuring that care standards, compliance, and team performance consistently meet regulatory and organisational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the clinical team to deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred care.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practice guidelines.
  • Monitor and improve care quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a role model, providing mentorship, supervision, and training to staff.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints appropriately.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical records.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience in a senior clinical or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance and care standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care.
  • Experience in care homes / community care / specialist services (adjust as needed).
  • Leadership or management qualification.
  • Experience with CQC inspections and regulatory compliance.
