Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Woodley/Stockport (SK6). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules or specific requirements
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Order stock once per month
- Make sure all areas are clean
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 4pm - 6.15pm all year round. You do not work Bank Holidays and we all get paid on the 5th working day of every month.
