Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) is the Cheshire and South Mersey Elective hub for elective recovery. Our development at Clatterbridge Hospital includes commissioning new operating theatres and recovery units. We are recruiting sterile services operatives to work at both Arrowe Park Hospital (APH) and Clatterbridge Hospital (CGH) sites to provide decontamination of instruments and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate medical instruments and equipment in the sterile services department.
- Manually handle equipment and wear appropriate PPE.
- Occasionally work shifts in the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit at Clatterbridge.
- Follow ISO 13485 and Medical Devices Regulations 2002 standards within a purpose-built, certified unit.
Full training will be provided to ensure effective and safe work within the team.
