How you’ll make a difference as a SEND Early Years Educator:

  • By assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
  • Through working closely with families, staff, and external agencies to create tailored support plans that meet each child’s needs.
  • By promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.

What a SEND Early Years Educator needs:

  • Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of EYFS.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
