The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

The role is to provide a safe, evidence-based clinical recovery-focused prescribing service for people who use alcohol and/or substances, delivering a minimum of 6 Non-medical prescribing sessions per week. The role will support the organisation’s aims to reduce health inequalities, ensure that people accessing the service receive high quality and inclusive care, and support people making the changes needed to help improve their health and wellbeing.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Delivery of regular Independent NMP clinics weekly depending on the service need (minimum 6 sessions per week).
  • Provide expert support to new NMPs and all prescribing, nursing and recovery staff.
  • Support the development of non‑medical prescribing countywide with the Clinical Lead.
  • Provision of healthcare treatments and procedures (including health screening, blood‑borne virus screening) for people accessing our service in line with the public health and wellbeing agenda.
  • Support and train staff in substance use disorder and alcohol related disorders.
  • Provide clinical supervision on a monthly basis to staff in the absence of Clinical Lead.
  • Line-manage nursing/recovery staff as required.
  • Deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence.
