Role Overview
Lecturer in Travel & Tourism positions available at Newcastle and Stafford College Sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess courses including the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism and the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel.
- Prepare, mark and monitor student progress, prepare reports, set and mark examinations.
- Develop and prepare flexible learning materials.
- Actively market the College and Department through open days, liaison with local employers and schools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant subject qualification to degree or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to train for one.
- Experience teaching Travel and Tourism courses; ideally within the FE sector.
- Knowledge of the travel, hospitality and/or events management industry.
