South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic part-time Learning Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our team to provide high-quality support for young people and adults who have an Education, Health and Care Plan or a specific learning difference or disability.
The successful candidate should be able to work effectively and imaginatively to provide first-class support for students, helping them embrace their differences and develop independence through supportive strategies to achieve their career aspirations. You will be a strong team player with a real desire to help young people and adults.
Previous experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults with learning differences and/or disabilities, knowledge of SEND and the Education, Health and Care process will be an advantage.
