About the Role: HCRG Staffing are looking for a Band 6 or Band 7 Dietitian to work in Staffordshire, West Midlands. The successful candidate will have significant clinical experience in acute dietetics, in particular nutrition support and enteral tube feeding. The case load will comprise of complex patients, to include specialist respiratory, cardiothoracic critical care and complex medicine, support to Neurosurgical and trauma wards.
You will join a team of over 60 Dietitians, dietetic assistants and a supportive admin team.
Key responsibilities include:
- To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team leading and providing dietetic input to patients in speciality and to liaise with other disciplines and agencies as required in the planning and implementation of patient care.
- To educate patients and their relatives / carers about their condition and its significance and ensure that care information and support is available.
- To use negotiating and persuasive skills to facilitate effective service delivery within the speciality team.
- To liaise with dietitians within the team and ensure overall prioritisation of workload within the team supporting other members as appropriate.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Education: Registered Dietitian (with relevant BSc, postgraduate diploma or masters)
- Licenses: HCPC registered
- Experience: 2 years experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
