Job Description:

The role of the Mobile HGV Technician involves travelling within a designated area with use of a fully equipped van. You will be working on a variety of vehicles, from tractor and trailer units to RCVs, sweepers, and gritters. We are looking for a self-motivated and independent HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Technician who can travel to our clients' various workshops in a designated area conducting:

  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Emergency Breakdowns
  • Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
  • Engine work and diagnostic investigations
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Qualifications:

Requirements for this Mobile Service Engineer position include being fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence but not essential.
