The firm has built an excellent reputation across the North West for delivering a personalised service to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurial clients. Due to continued growth and an increasing client base, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Senior to join a supportive and collaborative environment where career progression and professional development are actively encouraged.
Your new role involves managing a varied portfolio of clients and being responsible for delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. Your duties will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of limited companies
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Assisting with corporation tax computations
- Liaising directly with clients and providing day-to-day business advice
- Supporting junior team members and reviewing work where appropriate
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
What you'll need to succeed:
- Be AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Possess strong accounts preparation skills
- Be confident managing client relationships
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrate a proactive and professional approach to your work
