The Additional Learning Support (ALS) service is based in Leyland, near the M6, M61 and M65, and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District. ALS aims to enable students to maximise their potential and provide support for all students with learning difficulties or disabilities without stigma.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of ALS, the Senior ALS Coordinator and other key staff to support a defined caseload of students focused on literacy, numeracy and study skills.
- Provide assistance with literacy, numeracy and study skills for students, including those with dyslexia, sensory.
