Warehouse Operative Nights Location: Pallet Networks, Shepton Mallet
We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading palletised goods from a variety of vehicles, ensuring the upkeep of the warehouse is met and completing relevant paperwork while ensuring processes and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a Counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload palletised goods from lorries and place pallets into designated racking systems.
- Tip and load trailers as required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and accurately.
- Use warehouse systems and scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods while maintaining high standards of care and attention.
- Support general warehouse duties, such as pallet wrapping, labelling, and 'clean as you go' housekeeping to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, following warehouse procedures and reporting any issues or equipment defects promptly.
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Competitive Salary: £29,120pa plus an enhanced rate of £17.50ph for any overtime worked.
- Hours: 01:00am - 09.30am Monday through to Friday.
