We're looking for a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join Forest, a part of Mitie, supporting a range of foodservice, hospitality, and food & drinks retail clients across the South Midlands region. Forest is a market‑leading and national award‑winning refrigeration contractor in the Foodservice and Food/Drink retail sector, offering excellent job stability through long‑term, blue‑chip contracts. Role Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in an on‑call rota as required
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a current, valid F‑Gas Certificate (Applicants without this will not be considered).
- The ideal applicant will possess 10 years'+ experience working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector.
- Professional, reliable, and capable of high performance, even during peak summer periods.
- Full UK driving licence
- Qualified to work on chilled and frozen commercial equipment
- Must live in a postcode beginning with MK, OX, LU, HP or NN
