Morson Talent are recruiting for Skilled Aircraft Fitters to work for our prestigious client in Filton, Bristol.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble A400M components and assemblies.
- Use hand tools as part of fitter/assembly operator duties.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
Requirements:
- Must have completed an apprenticeship within an engineering discipline (e.g., sheet metal worker, aircraft or maintenance technician, tool maker, fitter/turner).
- NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
- Experience as a fitter/assembly operator and comfortable with hands-on assembly tasks.
- Must pass pre-employment medical and BPSS clearance before going on site.
Details:
- Start from mid-October.
- 12 months rolling contract with the possibility of a permanent role.
- 35 hours per week.
- Working pattern: Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–3:45pm.
- Pay rate: £26.92 per hour Umbrella; £20.13 per hour PAYE.
- Overtime: 25% uplift Mon–Fri and 50% Sat–Sun.
